How the project came about

This was an investment property for our client who was looking to restore a quintessential New Town property into an immaculate home for hire.
This grand five bedroom property was to become a bright, luxury home with character.

Client Input

The client wanted Top Hat House to be place where one could live and breathe Edinburgh in total comfort and style. Interiors were to be fun and vibrant.
The client was very collaborative throughout the design process and brought their individual personality to the project.

Property Layout

Top Hat House is a listed Georgian building designed by the famous architect, William H Playfair. The grand property has five bedrooms, all with ensuite, a bright drawing room and spacious kitchen/diner.

The Solution

With a limited budget, Bryce McKenzie applied bright, vibrant textures and colours with hand crafted signature details shaping the property into a luxurious
getaway destination.
